December Daily: Days 11-14

Yesterday morning I took some time to put together a few more days of my December Daily. For the 11th, I had two great shots I wanted to include.  :)  One is of Isaac blowing out the Advent Candles and the other is a silly bathtub shot.  Not a lot of story to go with these photos, but I do think the pics capture some nice essence of the season.

On the 12th we had a new Advent activity: Decorate your room! I went to the local dollar store and got some inexpensive silly decorations for them to hang. It was a huge hit!

Friday was a really industrious day for me. I assembled gingerbread houses for Andrew’s Christmas party and I got a lot of presents wrapped. I also monitored the coming storm and contacted parents and rescheduled the party. :) I really need to get back to work-work! yikes!

And for the 14th, this might be my favorite page so far! Gosh, I love snow. And I’m really happy with how these snowy photos came out.

This month really is zipping right by! Hold on tight, folks. Christmas is coming!

About robyn

I stopped teaching Kindergarten in 2005 to become the mom of two crazy boys here in Brooklyn. At first I thought being a stay at home mom meant that I needed to pour all my time and energy directly into my sons, but I realized somewhere along the way that being a rockstar mom meant not only taking good care of my boys, but also taking good care of myself. And taking good care of myself means pursuing something creative...just about everyday. I started Made In Brooklyn to motivate myself in my creative goals as well as share my work with others and perhaps inspire them in their own creative journeys.
