Weekends, as you know, I tend to work on my photography. Some weekends are better than others because of luck, because I try harder, because the kids are more cooperative, because we do something cool. Some weekends I get lots of shots of Andrew…or lots of shots of Isaac. Sometimes I remember to pass off the camera so I can be in the shot…and sometimes I don’t delete all the photos with me in them. Lately I’ve been trying to get more photos with all four of us in them. I am aiming for one a month. And so far, so good! I’m even a little ahead of schedule. ;)
Also lately I’ve been feeling frustrated with how little I adjust my settings. How I rush past the technical part to just gorge on photos that are overexposed, or underexposed…but are quick to catch the ‘moment’. I am sort of impatient about the whole thing. Luckily, my camera is pretty forgiving about that. But not always.
Saturday was rainy and we ended up at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum…which Andrew is getting a little too big for! That was sort of eye-opening. It’s still just right for Isaac though. And Andrew had a great time…but those days are numbered. crazy. His favorite part was about Chinese New Year.
Sunday had better weather and we went for a walk in a park in Staten Island…
…where we got chased by a wild group of ruffians!
Not a bad weekend!
Hope yours was good too!
