They take a long time…all the cutting out, baking, frosting…
and they’re always a little on the messy side, even when I’m trying pretty hard to keep things tidy.
But, oh my, are they good.
I used a recipe from this cookbook. They don’t have that cake-y lemon cookie that Black and White, usually have (want the cake-y lemon cookie? this cookbook will help you out!), but the shortbread/sugar cookie base on these guys is super tasty. And the chocolate frosting? oh so good.
