Ha! A weekend post a few days late! Last weekend we went up to Vermont to visit our families….
…and they had snow!
And extremely cold temperatures. Like today? Their high temp will be 7 degrees. 7! This past weekend the temperatures were in the single digits and teens, so sadly we didn’t spend too much time outside.
But there were lots of cozy places to cuddle up inside. :)
And new toys to play with! Thanks Mom and Dad!!
Today we are back at it. Like most of you, we are starting things back up again with early mornings, stuffed backpacks and the daily grind. Here goes nothing!

I stopped teaching Kindergarten in 2005 to become the mom of two crazy boys here in Brooklyn. At first I thought being a stay at home mom meant that I needed to pour all my time and energy directly into my sons, but I realized somewhere along the way that being a rockstar mom meant not only taking good care of my boys, but also taking good care of myself.
