new and organized

For Mother’s Day I asked for a gift certificate for scrapbooking stuff, and that’s exactly what I got. :) I ordered a few things and then when they arrived, I used the opportunity to clean out my supplies. I threw away things I wasn’t using and reorganized what was left. When I was doing that, I came across some snow themed things. USUALLY when I come across snow themed things I think “it never snows around here…when will I use this?” But THIS TIME I thought “oh MAN did it snow!”

So the next day, I printed out some photos I took with my phone and recorded our snowy winter. Gosh it was SUCH a great winter. I love these photos. :)

Have a lovely Memorial Day weekend!

About robyn

I stopped teaching Kindergarten in 2005 to become the mom of two crazy boys here in Brooklyn. At first I thought being a stay at home mom meant that I needed to pour all my time and energy directly into my sons, but I realized somewhere along the way that being a rockstar mom meant not only taking good care of my boys, but also taking good care of myself. And taking good care of myself means pursuing something creative...just about everyday. I started Made In Brooklyn to motivate myself in my creative goals as well as share my work with others and perhaps inspire them in their own creative journeys.

I love the small pop of colour on the page. In fact, I love everything about this page.
